About Beth

It’s all about asking the right questions. I am someone who isn’t afraid to think BIG and ask, ‘Why NOT?’  Really – why AREN’T you doing that? I help people pinpoint their strengths and build success from a positive and solid foundation.  I especially enjoy watching people realize that they have the ability to turn their strengths into success!

Beth encourages people to take a new perspective on work/life by thinking of themselves not as ‘human resources’ but as human beings who have the right, responsibility and the power to create their own success. She helps her clients uncover and leverage their strengths and create effective personal marketing strategies allowing them to build long-term work-life success. Beth shares this information on her blog at WorkYouLOVE.ca.

@TEDxVictoria, Beth was ‘speaking my language’.

Beth works with groups, providing motivational speaking and hands-on workshops designed to help people take a new perspective on work and life and giving them the tools they need to make it a reality. Her public speaking presentations are based on a theme of personal, work and educational empowerment for students and adults alike. Beth’s presentations have been described as ‘compelling and humorous’.

A former principal and mentor describes Beth as an ‘ethical educational leader’.

In a ‘past life’ as a secondary school educator, Beth engaged a wide variety of young adults in their education and future careers, regardless of area or level of study. She worked with students in modified, regular and advanced stream programming, and was honoured to be selected to work with colleagues on the re-design of a ‘Career and Academic Readiness’ program for ‘at-risk’ students.  A former principal and mentor describes Beth as an ‘ethical educational leader’, but in her estimation, the highest accolade came when she overheard one student telling another, ‘just go and ask her, she’ll explain it to you so you get it.’
