Work Is NOT A 4-Letter Word: A New Perspective on Work
Everything old eventually becomes new again – but this time with a 21st Century twist! The economic and technological climates are changing so rapidly that making predictions about what ‘jobs’ we (and our children) ‘should’ train for is futile. And this is the great news! Out of this uncertainty comes a magnificent opportunity as more of us are making decisions about ‘what we should be when we grow up’ based on our own strengths and passions – with an eye to what we can contribute to our communities.
Find out why ‘work’ is not a four-letter work, but ‘job’ is!
Cultivating Success: Building On The Strengths You’re Already Living
The secret to work/life success isn’t really a secret – it’s to follow your ‘passion’ – to understand your unique combination of personality type, interests, skills and values and to build your life from there.
For too many of us, our life planning is limited to training for and finding a ‘real job’ without much thought to our own real core personal values. Life just sort-of happens and we find ourselves working longer hours than we wanted and spending fewer hours with the people and activities that we value.
Find out how we can identify our strengths and with a few key ‘course corrections’ can make significant changes to our work/life success.
